New REACH-Regulation of EU No. 1907/2006

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The new EU-Regulation for chemical substances called REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals) entered into force on June 1, 2007.

The REACH-Regulation is the most progressive chemical law worldwide, with the highest aim to improve the protection of human health and the environment and, at the same time the competitiveness of the EU-industry should be enhanced.

According to REACH, our delivered products are classified as manufactured items. Under Reach we consider ourselves as a "subsequent" user. Consequently Pfannenberg is not directly concerned by this regulation.

We have contacted all concerned pre-suppliers with the objective that all substances and components delivered to Pfannenberg meet the specifications of the REACHregulation. Final statements are not yet completely available.

From our today's knowledge Pfannenberg meets the obligations that result from the new REACH-regulation.

Of course, we will inform you immediately, if we cannot deliver present products due to this regulation anymore.
