Hamburg, June 2015. According to research by Conmoto, maintenance costs across the industry sector amount to a rate of 4.8%. Hence, in European manufacturing plants the direct maintenance costs total more than 450 billion euros annually. Of this, around two thirds, or 300 billion euros, can be influenced by specific measures for improvement.
