Pfannenberg becomes joint owner of Carl Geisser AG

Hamburg, 22 October 2015. For over 50 years the Carl Geisser AG has successfully been representing the thermal management and signaling technology specialist Pfannenberg in Switzerland. As part of a succession arrangement of the Geisser family, Pfannenberg Group Holding GmbH and three other partners have acquired the company in a management buy-out. Pfannenberg now jointly owns the Carl Geisser AG together with German Lohmeier Schaltschrank-Systeme GmbH & Co. KG in Vlotho and steute Schaltgeräte GmbH & Co. KG in Löhne, as well as CEO for many years, Bruno Senn. Customers will not be affected by the changes to the ownership structure: their points of contact as well as the company's name and headquarters will remain the same.

The Swiss company was founded 68 years ago by Carl Geisser and became an established supplier of custom solutions in the areas of machine safety, signaling, controls and switching. A knowledgeable and experienced team based in Frauenfeld supplies the local market and the Principality of Liechtenstein with a wide range of high-quality products and services for machines and switchgear cabinets, including some for hazardous areas.

"We have a special relationship with Carl Geisser AG", says Andreas Pfannenberg, Managing Director of the Pfannenberg Group. "This is because international sales in our company began with our collaboration in Switzerland, more than 50 years ago. We can look back on many successful years together. Now, we are looking forward to strengthen our presence in the Swiss market under the name of Carl Geisser together with our partners."
