PATROL sounders 122 dB(A)

PATROL – the new generation of sounders.
Three dimensional innovation;

  • safe; an incorrect installation is virtually impossible
  • easy; significantly shorter assembly and installation times
  • economical; extremely high efficiency and good penetration of acoustical obstacles significantly reduce the required number of sounders
  • 3D-Coverage - Outstanding coverage area. Achieve maximum effectivness with signaling devices from Pfannenberg. Find out more.

Pfannenberg 3D-Coverage

PA 20 – LO – Size of acoustical coverage (A x B x C in meter)

80 dB (A) 85 dB (A) 90 dB (A)
Coverage area with DIN tone and required sound levels.

PA 20 – LO (Low Output): Due to VdS/EN 54-3 approval the PA 20 is reduced in sound output to max. 120 dB (ex factory).

The figures shown are mainly for a quick orientation. For an individual and precise interpretation please use Pfannenberg Sizing Software (PSS).

PA 20 – HO – Size of acoustical coverage (A x B x C in meter)

80 dB (A) 85 dB (A) 90 dB (A)
Coverage area with DIN tone and required sound levels.

PA 20 – HO (High Output): If the application is not requiring VdS/EN 54-3 approval (e.g. for machines) the max. sound output could be used by turning the potentiometer on the PCBA to the upper limit (see operation manual).

The figures shown are mainly for a quick orientation. For an individual and precise interpretation please use Pfannenberg Sizing Software (PSS).

Product Benefits

  1. 1

    Captive fastener

Installation and assembly is simplified and screws cannot get lost.

  2. 2

    Shape-moulded gasket

Stays in-place and cannot get lost.

  3. 3

    Electromagnetic sound capsule technology

Acoustic signal includes a share of low frequency side bands for excellent sound penetration of walls and doors for highly effective alarming.

  4. 4

    Plug and socket connections

Upper and lower parts combine positively to simplify installation. When separated, electrical hazards are eliminated for handling.

  5. 5

    Selectable audible notification

Choice of 80 unique alarm tones with four stages of tone control for distinctive signalling of specific events.

  6. 6

    Impact resistant housing

Achieves IK08 impact rating to endure harsh environments.

  7. 7

    IP 66 enclosure rating

Suitable for use in all weather conditions due to the provided protection against driving rain, snow, ice, and dust. Withstands hose-directed spray during wash-down requirements.

  8. 8

    Intelligent installation

Electrical wiring is conducted in the base box to avoid clumsy 3-hand assembly. Wires are safely routed where the potential for pinching and errors are eliminated.
