Pfannenberg and Schurrer present at Smart Automation 2019

In Hall DC, Stand 211, the partners will present visual and audible signaling solutions for small enterprises and large industrial companies

Electrical technology specialist Pfannenberg will be at the Smart Automation in Linz, Austria, together with Schurrer, presenting signaling solutions for alarm systems.

At the leading national trade fair for industrial automation, from 14 to 16 May at Stand 211 in Hall DC (Design Centre), visitors will be informed about signaling and alarm system technologies by experts from Schurrer, the Austrian distribution partner.

Whether for a small enterprise or a large industrial company, Pfannenberg and Schurrer have the right signaling devices on hand for every application.

From flashing lights and sounders to Ex-ATEX signaling devices, and as a specialist in thermal management solutions, Pfannenberg will also be presenting not only the robust 3000 series outdoor cooling units, but also the compact PC 2500 chiller.

The right alerting for halls up to 15.9 m high

Particularly high halls represent a challenge for alarm systems. The signalers of the PYRA® series are above all designed for noisy industrial companies with large, high halls, where audible alarm signals are often not sufficient and visual alarm signals are essential.

At the Smart Automation in Linz, Pfannenberg will be showcasing the 15-joule PYRA® X-L-15 flashing light. It is optionally available with a clear or red lens colour (specially for fire alarms) and is suitable for industrial and production halls with ceiling heights of up to 15.9 m.

All PYRA® lights are additionally approved under DIN EN 54-23. Thanks to their design in the protection classes IP 66 and IK08, the PYRA® X-L signaling devices are very robust, and suitable for both outdoor and indoor applications.

High-performance signaling devices for any company size

Effective alarm systems are a matter of life and death, even in small enterprises, and are required by law. Where audible and possibly also visual alarm signals are mandatory under VDE 0833-2, the required degree of safety can be ensured by just a few signaling devices.

Here, Pfannenberg and Schurrer provide the flashing sounders of the PATROL series, such as the PA X 1-05. They have short delivery times and are quickly installed, because they are delivered prewired.

Outdoor cooling units for extreme environments

Under extreme conditions, such as severe heat or cold, wetness or dust, switch cabinet air-conditioning faces special challenges. The robust DTS 3000 outdoor cooling units have been specially designed for rough environmental conditions.

They are designed in the protection classes N3R and IP 56, but can also be expanded to NEMA type 4X.

In order to withstand all weather conditions, the cooling units of the DTS 3000 series are fitted with powder-coated steel hoods, or stainless steel hoods up to V4A grade, and a hermetically sealed cooling circuit.

Cost-efficient, compact chiller with high resilience

The air-cooled PC 2500 water/glycol chiller is a cost-efficient standard solution with a compact design that offers a high-quality alternative to commercially available units in this class.

In its performance class of 2.5 kW, the PC 2500 is also designed for use in very warm environments up to +50 °C. Users benefit from increased reliability and lower operating costs.

Its compact design makes it ideal for machine tool and production line applications. Further application areas for the PC 2500 include e.g. manufacturing and laboratory technology and non-destructive material testing, e.g. in industrial X-ray technology.
