Responsible Supply Chain

Our suppliers play a vital role because stable, reliable supply chains are decisive to our success.

We expect our suppliers to comply with the relevant national and international laws and standards with respect to human rights as well as governing occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and data protection.

The guideline for sustainable procurement (Code of Conduct, CoC) is part of these measures. We are member of the ZVEI (Verband der Elektro- und Digitalindustrie), a major influential association in Germany for our industry. Thus, we apply their “ZVEI’s Code of Conduct for Corporate Social Responsibility” which acts as a guideline in the industry, especially regarding working conditions, social and environmental compatibility, transparency and collaboration. Pfannenberg Group strives to subsequently implement further measures in our purchasing department.

An important topic of social responsibility in our supply chain refers to refraining from the use of conflict minerals. Raw materials from conflict regions include Tantalum, Tungsten, Tin and Gold. Pfannenberg follows international efforts and has implemented a Policy on Responsible Mineral Sourcing which demands transparency from all suppliers. You can assume that Pfannenberg products do not contain any of the mentioned minerals from affected areas.
