In China, the Chinese New Year also named Spring Festival.

During the Spring Festival, we paste couplets on the door to pray for good luck.

On the Chinese New Year’s Eve, families get together for the New Year’s Eve dinner, people will go to bed after midnight to say goodbye to the old and welcome the new.

On Spring Festival Day, relatives and friends say some good wishes to each other, and the eldership give red envelopes to children to wish them a safe and healthy New Year.

During the Spring Festival, people also like to set off fireworks to celebrate the festival, and on the fifth day after the Spring Festival day, people often set off firecrackers to welcome the god of wealth.
